Ok, the real no-no ingredient that I've found useful is milk of magnesia. I know the Neutrogena one contains fragrance, so people who are sensitive to that wouldn't like it. Dray use the same face wash you like on her channel. The Clean & Clear one I love has a pH of 3.2. Most facial washes are formulated at the right pH too. The salicylic acid moves from the cleanser to the oil glands quickly (no need to leave it on for several minutes). In defense of SA facial cleansers, there IS research that demonstrates they're effective. Especially Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser & Zapzyt 's SA wash. There's other bha cleansers out there without dyes and fragrances but this is so affordable its hard to ignore.Īnyone else have a product that continuously improve their skin that is often hated? Any guilty pleasure ingredients people recommend against? Share it hereĮdit: **Ive been using it slightly over 9 years, not a decade My skin texture isnt the same without it. I dont know if its the low ph irritating people or if its some allergen but this thing is so universally hated Im suprised its still being sold.but it keeps me coming back. The amazon reviews of this cleanser and scrub.dont even look it's actually heartbreaking what both products has made people go through. Im actually embarassed I like it so much (i know thats silly) since Neutrogena pink grapefruit oil free acne wash is considered sh*t here on SCA.īut its not just SCA, if you look on Neutrogenas official website this thing scores a 60%. It just works so well for my skin and I have serious skincare routine- oil cleansing then I use this as my AM cleanser, toners, aha, a whole stock pile of antioxiant/peptide serums, PIH serums, tretinoin, other treatments, moisturizers, oils, american sunscreen, european sunscreen, you name it. It does so much for my skin texture, cleansliness, provides a deep clean, and never strips my skin or irritates it. So this bha cleanser took me through my pimply teen years and even though I have aged out of getting breakouts and I am not acne prone, I still use it. I used to use the scrub aswell a few times in my teens when I didn't realize how bad microbeads were for the enviroment. I needed to get my love for it off my chest. It occured to me at checkout that I've been using it on and off for what feels like a decade. I recently went to the store and picked up This bad boy again Posts without a valid tag will be removed by Automoderator.
